Vision Session
Eat Local Sudbury is embarking on a strategic planning process that will result in a marketing strategy and three year business plan to be presented at the AGM in March 2012.
The first stage in this process is to conduct vision sessions with the membership and other stakeholders of Eat Local Sudbury. The goal of the sessions is to give you the opportunity to express your vision or dream for the future of the co-op. This will lead to a vision statement that captures the common goals, values and dreams shared by the membership. This collective vision statement will provide a clear direction upon which to determine measurable objectives going forward.
These vision sessions will be held on the following dates/times:
Tuesday, October 18 6 to 9 pm
Thursday, October 20 9 am - 12 pm
Tuesday, October 25 6 – 9 pm
If you are interested in attending a session please contact info@eatlocalsudbury.com by Monday, October 17th and indicate your preferred session with your second option.
All those attending will be sent a pre-vision questionnaire to stimulate their thinking on the future of Eat Local Sudbury.
If you cannot attend a session but would like to provide feedback you will be able to submit the questionnaire. The questionnaire will be available at the store or via email from Thursday, October 12th.
We want and need your input and are looking forward to hearing your ‘dream’ for Eat Local Sudbury.

Fun Food Facts of the Week!
Carrots are a delicious and nutritious root vegetable that originated in Afghanistan. They originally came in white, red, purple, yellow but never orange until the 16th century, where Dutch carrot growers invented the orange carrot in honour of their Royal family, whose last name was “Orange”. They did this by cross breeding pale yellow carrots with red carrots.
